Hadith on Neighbors We Often Read but Rarely Live
Omar Siddique

Jibril kept advising the Prophet about neighbors until it seemed they would receive inheritance. That level of care is the standard we aim toward.
Introduce yourself if you have not. A plate of food or a kind note breaks ice that years of living side by side never melted.
Watch noise levels late at night. Taraweeh recordings, renovations, and gatherings should not punish the family next door.
Check on elderly neighbors during heat waves and snowstorms. A short visit can prevent real harm.
Protect their reputation. Speaking ill of neighbors in group chats is still gheebah.
