Giving Sadaqah When Money Feels Tight

Omar Siddique
Coins set aside for charity

Islam never asks you to harm your dependents for show. Give according to your means, even if that means a coin, a meal share, or volunteering an hour.

Remove the all-or-nothing mindset. Waiting until you are rich often means never starting. A little with sincerity carries weight.

Offer knowledge, rides, and introductions. Connecting someone to a job or tutoring a neighbor's child is charity that costs time, not cash.

Protect dignity when you give. Handing help privately prevents embarrassment for people who already carry enough.

Make dua for increase with barakah. Asking Allah to expand what little you have for both your family and others is itself an act of trust.
