Making Jumuah Feel Special Again in a Busy Work Week

Between emails and school pickups, Jumuah sometimes feels rushed. You arrive late, leave early, and the barakah of the day passes quietly.

Prepare the night before. Lay out clean clothes, set an earlier alarm, and plan a simple lunch so the afternoon stays light.

Read Surah Al-Kahf in the morning, even a portion of it. Many families split it between Thursday night and Friday morning.

Send salawat upon the Prophet throughout the day. It takes seconds and keeps your heart oriented toward his example.

Gather for a family meal after prayer if you can. The table does not need to be fancy. Presence matters more than presentation.
